Spring Bear Hunts - May 1,2010
Bear hunts are over. We hunted hard and nature gave us a set back with the weather; over 4 feet of snow fell in the first few days of the hunt. We lost almost half the hunt due to weather. My hat is off to Carl Drumhiller and Larry Johnson. They kept good attitudes the entire hunt. Bear sightings were minimal, one sow with two cubs from the ground. We had found one den from the air but impossible to get there in the wet soupy snow. We even extended the hunt a day and got weathered down most of that day as well. Overall one of the toughest hunts have been on for hunting conditions. Fall is booking well with a couple openings left one at a discount in August. Call for more details. Good hunting,
